The room we stayed in was incredibly clean, and the bed was comfy. the location was awesome - only 25 km from the airport in Vila Real, so getting there was a breeze. the staff were super friendly and always ready to help out with a smile 😊.

Excellent value for money. The location is breath-taking, the rooms are very nice and large and the breakfast and dinner consists of delicious local products.

While the food was a little bit pricey, the quality was also very high!

The staff were all really helpful and very professional. The hotel's location was quiet, close enough to three different wineries. It also was to the nearest alternative restaurant.

We had an incredible stay for longer than 2 nights next time, and will come back. Our room was clean and the food was delicious. Its location on the hilltop with a breathtaking view over wineries was stunning and marvelous.

Excellent location in the heart of the Douro wine market region, surrounded by vineyards and nature - Nice choice for a quiet / relax staying. The pool facilities are very good, right in the middle of the valley (Vale de Mendiz) with beautiful views. The staff was extremely careful and dedicated (Carlos Martins). The room was very clean and the breakfast a good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

This mention is not about the hotel but the information (directions) on how to get there, which can be very difficult for the first time.

The rooms here are beautifully decorated and have excellent facilities, plus the food is fabulous, and the service is very good.

Spacious king room that's super clean and tidy 😊

Beautiful location. Delicious dinner each night with local (from the farm) ingredients. We went with the suggestions of our host and it was worth it. Carlos Martins also drew maps for things to see including a cobblestone one way road up a steep hillside which was worth the slightly terrifying views down in the valley.

It was perfect for us in spite of the cool and rainy weather

here i spent 1 night and enjoyed being in this place. the hotel was clean and gorgeous, had panoramic views of vineyard lined hills. the location was nice and quiet - within short walking distance to everywhere i wanted to go. what's more, it was not far from the vineyard as well as porto. my room included a mini fridge bar, a work desk and an electric kettle. everyone was extremely helpful and the breakfast was large.

The room was equipped with coffee/tea making facilities, a multi-channel TV, and a study table, all adding comfort to the stay in a peaceful, convenient location.
